During the time between 1994 and 1999, Grover Arnett was stated as a Magoffin County attorney. During this time, he earned many achievements including helping block the legal establishment of an out-of-state garbage dump in Magoffin County as well as earning an impressive 95 percent conviction rate for DUI offences. He also was able to assist on many high profile cases such as the largest drug conviction in the county’s history in Knott’s County’s first-ever marijuana cultivation conviction. Grover Arnett made it his personal mission during this time to help make Magoffin County a safer place for its citizens.
